| Wild Card |
A card, any standard card or the joker, that is changeable to any value or suit desired as agreed to by the players or at the dealer's choice. |

| Wild Game |
1. A fast paced or high spirited game.
2. A game that uses wild cards. |

| Window or Window Dressing |
A card purposely exposed from a closed hand. |
|
|
| Wired (Back-to-Back) |
A pair, three or four of a kind dealt back-to-back or consecutively in a hand, usually starting with the first card. |

| Wired Pair |
The starting hand consisting of a pair. |
|
|
| Woolworth's |
The starting hand in Hold'em of 5 and 10. |

| World Series of Poker |
A series of several different poker games with relatively large buy-ins culminating in a Hold'em tournament with a buy-in of $10,000, the winner crowned the World Poker Champion. Held every May sponsored by Binion's Horseshoe Club in Las Vegas. |
