Placing bets.
* Click on a chip to select it.
* Once a chip is selected, click on a valid area of the craps table to place a bet.
* At least the minimum and at most the maximum bet will be placed, regardless of which chip is selected. Betting limits vary from casino to casino, so check what they are before you play.
* As a chip is held over an area where a bet can be placed, a popup will display details about the bet.
Changing bets.
When the rules allow a player to add to their bet, they would just select a chip and click the desired bet. To remove the bet, they would select a chip and right-click on the bet.
Rolling the dice.
When a player has finished placing his bets, the player will click on the Roll Button. The dice will roll and any wins will be added to the player's account, and any lost bets will be removed from the table.
Leaving the table.
A player may leave at any time he chooses, but any chips on the table will remain there until the player decides to return to this game and resume playing.
Craps revolves around the shooter, or the player holding the dice. In an online game this will always be you. All bets are essentially for or against what the shooter will roll. Bets are divided into "RIGHT" bets and "WRONG" bets. Now, remember that these bets will have different outcomes depending on which phase of the game the player's in. The two phases of the game are, the "coming out" phase and the "points" phase.
Definition: wagers that the shooter will make a pass.
The Pass Line Bet.
This bet is betting on the shooter making a pass. This bet wins if either a 7 or 11 are thrown on the come-out roll, or the point number is repeated before a 7 is rolled.
The pass line bet loses if the come-out is a 2, 3 or 12 ("Craps") or if a 7 is rolled before repeating the point number.
The pass line bet is paid out at even money.
Taking the Odds.
When the shooter establishes a point, a player who has made a pass line bet is allowed to "take the odds". The limit on the amount one can bet on the odds is three times your pass line wager if the point is 4, 5, 9, or 10, or four and a half times your pass line wager if the point is 6 or 8. The odds bet wins if the point is repeated before a 7 is rolled and is paid out at 2 to 1 if the point is 4 or 10, 3 to 12 if the point is 5 or 9 and 6 to 5 if the point is 6 or 8.
Come Bets.
A come bet is the same as a pass line bet, except that it can be made on every throw once a point has been established. Once the player has placed a come bet, the next throw becomes the come-out roll for that wager. This means that if the shooter rolls a 7 or 11, the player wins, and if craps is rolled, the player loses.
Let's say that another number is rolled, now this number becomes the point for this particular wager. To win the come bet, the player must repeat this point number before throwing a 7.
Odds wagers may be placed on Come Bets in the same way as for pass line bets.
Definition: wagers that the shooter will not make a pass.
The Don't Pass Line Bet.
This is the basic bet against the shooter. If a 2, 3, or 12 are rolled on the come- out roll, or if a 7 is rolled before repeating the point, the player wins.
The player loses on the don't pass bet line if a 7 or 11 is thrown on the come-out roll, or if the point number is repeated before throwing a 7.
The don't pass line is paid out at even money, except when a 12 is rolled on the come-out roll. If this should happen, it is called a stand off and the player's bet is returned.
Laying The Odds.
Just as on the pass line bet, a player can place odds on the don't pass line bet. The limits on the amount a player can place is 6 times your don't pass line bet is the point is 4 or 10, 4 and a half times your don't pass line bet if the point is 5 or 9 and 3.6 times your don't pass line bet if the point is 6 or 8.
The player wins this bet if a 7 is rolled before repeating the point and is paid out at 1 to 2 if the point is 4 or 10, 2 to 3 if the point is 5 or 9 and 5 to 6 if the point if 6 or 8.
Don't Come Bets.
This bet is identical to a don't pass line bet, except that it may be placed on every throw once the shooter has established a point. The next roll becomes the point for this particular bet. That means that if the shooter rolls a craps number, the player wins, and if a 7 or 11 is rolled, the player will lose. If a point is established, the bet will win if a 7 is rolled before repeating the point number.
Place Bets.
Place bets are wagers that a particular number will be rolled before a 7. Place bets on the 6 and 8 are paid out at 7 to 6. Place bets on 4 and 10 are paid out at 9 to 5. Place bets on 5 and 9 are paid out at 7 to 5.
Also, a player may bet that a particular number won't be rolled before a 7. Lose bets on the 6 and 8 are paid out at 4 to 5. Lose bets on 4 and 10 are paid out at 5 to 11. Lose bets on 5 and 9 are paid out at 5 to 8.
Big 6 and Big 8 Bets.
These are bets that a 6 or an 8 will be rolled before a 7. These wagers pay out at even money.
Hardway Bets.
This is a bet that wagers that a 4, 6, 8, or 10 will be rolled by pairing the dice ( 2 and 2, 3 and 3, 4 and 4, 5 and 5) before either rolling a 7 or the particular number comes up the normal way.
The pay out is 7 to 1 on the 4 and 10 and 9 to 1 on the 6 and 8.
The Field Bet.
This is a bet that either a 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, or 12 is rolled on the next throw of the dice. It pays out at even money if a 3, 4, 9, or 10 are rolled and 2 to 1 if a 2 or 12 are rolled.
Number Bets.
This is a bet that a particular number will be rolled on the next throw. It may be placed on 2, 3, 7, 11, or 12. A wager on 2 or 12 pays out at 29 to 1, on 3 or 11 14 to 1 and on 7 4 to 1.
A player can also bet that any of the craps numbers (2, 3, 12) will be rolled. This wager is paid out at 7 to 1.
The C-E Bet.
The C-E bet, also known as the craps-eleven bet, is a wager that a 2, 3, 11, or 12 is thrown on the next roll of the dice. If a 2, 3 or 12 are rolled, it is paid out at 3 to1. If an 11 is rolled, it is paid out at 7 to 1.
"Off" Bets.
On the come-out roll, some bets are "off", which means that they will neither win nor lose regardless of which number is rolled. The wagers that are affected by this bet are the "hardway" bets, the "place" and "lose" bets, and the "odds wagers" on the "come" and "don't come" bets.
