Absolute Poker Offers Tuition Tournament
.............................................................................................

SEPTEMBER 22, 2005

SAN JOSE, Costa Rica - (PRESS RELEASE) -- College students interested in winning tuition money for the spring 2006 semester at the school of their choice have until midnight EDT this October 6, 2005 to enter the Absolute Poker free "Win Your Tuition" Texas Hold'em tournament October 15. To compete, students only need proof of enrollment for the spring 2006 semester, be in good standing with their school, and have access to a computer.

As part of the countdown leading up to the October 15 main event, Absolute Poker is featuring free rolls with prizes every weekend and satellite tournaments begin October 10. No more than 2,000 participants, selected at random based on a first-come-first serve basis, will participate in any individual satellite event. The top 20 percent of the finalists from each satellite will qualify for the main event. Interested players can register and download the free software by going to http://www.absolutepoker.com.

In addition to tuition for a semester, prizes include internship opportunities, cash prizes and random tournament giveaways.

Derek Dilberian, the University of Florida College of Law student who won Absolute Poker's spring 2005 "Win Your Tuition" tournament said he is looking forward to competing again. "After I signed up to play in the last tournament, I was sure that it was a joke. It was free so I went ahead and competed and had a good time. When I won, I found out it was for real and, sure enough, my tuition was paid in full. You can bet I'm going to try to repeat my win this fall."

According to tournament organizers, Penn State is leading all schools in registered participants.

1) Penn State

2) Indiana State

3) University Of Texas

4) University Of Florida

5) Purdue University

6) University of Illinois

7) Virginia Tech

8) University of California

9) Rutgers University

10) University of Wisconsin
